1. Forgot your Wifi password?

Wi believe I can fi 🛸

Well, we’ve all been there! If you also someday forget your WiFi password or you want to get your school WiFi password etc.

Voila! system shows up your password!

for Mac users type:

  1. security find-generic-password -wa “yourwifiname”

2 . Buying a house?

What does a house wear? - Address 🏠

Good for you! During this process, if you tend to like a house you found. See if there is an Airbnb in that area or nearby to get the feeling of the neighbourhood. You will get a lot more information which would help you in your final decision making.

3. Forgot to save the document before closing?

this one is pretty suite 😉

Happens to the best of us. But don’t worry, you can retrieve the unsaved closed documents by following the below command:

  1. windows+R (windows key is windows icon bottom left of keybord)

  2. It opens a "Run" box

  3. Run : %appdata%

  4. It should open the roaming file.

  5. Open the microsoft file from roaming.

  6. Open excel (or Words or whatever "Office suit soft" depend on what you lost)

  7. Open the "yourfilename UNSAVED" file.

4. The Travelling hack

The airline lost my luggage, and so I sued them. Unfortunately, I lost the case 🧳

Take photos of the insides of your suitcases right before you zip them up - that way if anything goes missing in transit you will know it. Also, throw in an AirTag or similar product into your main luggage, this way you will know where your baggage is in real time at the airport and you do not have to wait for an eternity at the baggage belt, you can use that time to grab a coffee or do anything else you want meanwhile. Also this way there is no chance your baggage going missing, you can always show the location to the airport authorities to get it out of wherever the hell it went.

5. Carrying your own water bottle.

Stayed in a posh hotel with towels so thick I could barely shut my suitcase 🏨

Bring a water bottle with you on your hotel visit can come in handy. If you are unsure of the quality of the tap water in that hotel, just go the fitness center/gym in the hotel and fill in the bottle. Hotels usually have water there. Of course this only applies on those hotels who do not provide free water bottles in the room.

6. Wish someone would just stop talking?

I have stopped listening, why have you not stopped talking? 🤨

If someone won't shut up, drop something, they'll pause when you go to pick it up. Use that opportunity to speak, as you pick up whatever you dropped. Also, make sure your body is facing towards the exit of the room or in a different direction incase you are not in a room. this also builds up pressure on the person speaking to finish what he/she has to say quickly.

7. The relationship hack

“My girlfriend says I’m a skeptic, but I don’t believe a word she says.” 🧐

Many problems in marriages/relationships are really just problems which occurs by being a bad roommate. Learn how to be a good roommate, start doing things your partner does usually, be a helping hand, organise things in a way he/she would like it to be, bring him/her a glass of water or something he/she likes when you go get something for yourself out of the fridge next time and you will see things started to get better automatically. Of course, this also includes communicating about something bothering you before you get too angry about it. Communication is the key.

8. The classic Interview question.

Went for an interview in Seoul once. Seemed like a good Korea opportunity.🥸

When a job interviewer asks, "What's your biggest weakness?", interpret the question in practical terms rather than in terms of personality faults. "Sometimes I let people take advantage of me", or "I take criticism personally" are bad answers. "I'm too honest" or "I work too hard", even if they believe you, make you sound like you'll be irritating to be around or you'll burn out.

Instead, say something like, "My biggest weakness with regards to this job is, I have no experience with [company's database platform]" or "I don't have much knowledge about [single specific aspect of job] yet, so it would take me some time to learn."

These are real weaknesses that are relevant to the job, but they're also fixable things that you'll correct soon after being hired. Personality flaws are not (and they're also none of the interviewer's business).

9. Need to be in sleep but kids?

A two-year old is kind of like having a blender, but you don't have a top for it. 👶

If you feel tired and want to sleep with kids in the house. Tell them to wake you up in about 30 minutes so we can start cleaning the house and they will do literally anything to avoid waking you up. This would most likely work, unless the kid who just wants to be a good kid really wakes you up, but also cries not to do any cleaning 😛

10. Concerts can be too loud.

Going to a rock concert is a near-deaf experience. 🎸

Wear earplugs to concerts or at least carry them with you and wear it when you feel it is getting too loud. With earplugs you can still hear the music just fine. After many years of loud shows, I know some people with Tinnitus which is a Hearing loss and it is not joke. Lots of people wear them at shows, and don’t worry about someone judging you. Earplugs is a cheap investment and save you your ears and a lot of money moving into the future. Stay safe and healthy!

11. This one for near-sighted folks.

Guess who I bumped into on my way to get my glasses fixed? Everybody. 👓

If you're nearsighted, alone, & can't find your glasses? pull up the camera on your phone & use it as your eyes to spot them. Simply turn on the camera, bring it near your eyes and you can see all around clearly through your phone screen.

12. Best movie theatre experience

Ok, Sound, Check. 👓

For the best sound experience in a movie theater, sit 2/3 of the way back and as close to the middle as possible; this is where the audio engineer sits when they do the final audio mix.

13. Walking in the night.

Walking in a scary neighborhood at night? Download the police scanner app on your phone and listen to it on full voluume.
